That's the thing about being a teenager in love:
You’ve got people coming from every direction, telling you that what you’re feeling isn’t real, and sure, you try to convince yourself that they’re wrong…but eventually, we let it get to our heads. We lie to ourselves, and say that it was all just pretend.
But once they’re gone, we’re miserable…and we can’t ever quite figure out why.
